Fresh Fig Custard Ice Cream
Inspired by techniques from Serious Eats.
A twist on our vanilla custard: ripe fresh figs are cooked down into a lemony jam and blended into a slightly lighter yolk custard. Sweet, honeyed and a pretty dusky pink.
